Crisis Updates: Floods in Pakistan

Relentless rains and flash floods have ravaged large areas of Pakistan, displacing thousands of people and depriving them of essential resources. Entire communities are facing dire shortages of shelter, food, and clean water as floodwaters persist. Families are in urgent need of assistance to endure this crisis and start rebuilding their lives.

Since June 2025, Pakistan has faced a devastating monsoon season that has triggered widespread and deadly flooding, particularly in the provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab. By late August 2025, nearly 1,000 lives had been lost, more than 4,200 houses were destroyed or damaged, and over one million people were affected.

Our Mission And Vision

At Sehat Mand Pakistan, our vision is to create a health-conscious, empowered, and disease-aware nation where individuals from all walks of life are equipped with the knowledge and resources to make informed health decisions. We envision a Pakistan where access to accurate health information is not a privilege but a basic right — enabling people to prevent illnesses, seek timely care, and adopt healthier lifestyles. We aim to bridge the gap between healthcare knowledge and everyday living, especially in underserved and rural areas where medical awareness is often limited. By promoting preventive care, heart health, hygiene practices, mental well-being, and lifestyle education, we strive to reduce the burden of preventable diseases across the country. Driven by compassion, community involvement, and credible health education, our goal is to foster a culture where awareness leads to action, and action leads to a healthier, happier Pakistan. Together, we believe that by educating today, we protect tomorrow.

Health Issues

Heart Issue

Heart issues, also known as cardiovascular diseases (CVDs), refer to a range of conditions that affect the heart and blood vessels. They are one of the leading causes of death globally but are largely preventable through awareness and healthy lifestyle choices.

Tobacco Awareness

Tobacco use is one of the leading causes of preventable deaths worldwide. It harms nearly every organ in the body and is a major risk factor for heart disease, cancer, lung disease, and stroke.

Climac

Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns, mainly caused by human activities like burning fossil fuels, deforestation, and industrial pollution. It is one of the biggest challenges facing our planet today.
